Ken is a founder member of the Sussex Bonsai Group, and one of the leading exponents of bonsai techniques in the UK.  He has been growing bonsai for 47 years with his wife Ann, and has been awarded six RHS Chelsea Gold Medals.  He was awarded the Garden Writers Guild 'Book of the Year 2006' for his latest book: "Growing Bonsai-A Practical Encyclopedia".
